Charley asked me to post about her… I’m pretty bored so I may aswell.
Charley is pretty damn awesome. She’s among the nicest people I know and is also friggin’ gorgeous.
I met her ages ago when I was in year 8 and she was in year 9. We were in the same group for CarnEvent (random week-long activity we did at school) doing “Theatre”. My friends were all doing different things so I was quite solidary in our group of around 30. We had a crazy teacher who insisted on calling me Mikash (the weirdest spelling of my name to date) and came up with crazy ideas involving pretending we were musical instruments.
The performance was basically a collection of sketches linked together with a badly fitted storyline involving “Somewhere” and “Anywhere” as place names .
I was put into a small group of about five girls. There was Brooke, Charley, Naomi Moss and two other girls. They were all friends and I hadn’t met them before so I was quite quiet. I got told I had to act drunk and play a drug addict. The whole performance went quite well (Brooke has a video, I might try and upload it) but I didn’t speak to the girls again for ages.
I became friends with Brooke about a year later and was reintroduced to Naomi (as Kindell’s girlfriend) shortly after.
Somehow I began speaking to Charley about a year after that but I don’t remember how… I think it may have involved a magic trick and an input from Suzi…
But anyway, she’s pretty damn awesome and I love her loads.
