I’m reading a book at the moment (The End of Faith by Sam Harris) which is about religion and terrorism. It raises a very interesting point in the first chapter:
On September 11th, Osama bin Laden committed an act of terrorism and killed many people. As a result a war on terrorism was declared.
If Osama bin Laden had been the leader of a state and had attacked the World Trade Center with missiles, it would have been an act of war. Would a war on “war” have been declared? I think not…
OK, it isn’t the greatest thing in the world, but I just felt like giving it a go. I’ve only bothered with one verse, but I think you get the jist…

Everynow and then, John Fenton tells me to download a game so that we can play together or talk about it… Normally they are bollocks (Anarchy Online anyone? John tells me it’s better than life), but for once this one was good. At first I didn’t like it, probably because I wasn’t expecting it to be good, but it is actually pretty amazing.
It’s called Frets on Fire and it’s like a dance mat game, except instead of having to dance on different pads, you have to play guitar with your keyboard. Download it here, it’s seriously worth it.
Just got in from being out. Glyn came back with me. We heated up an apple pie. Glyn thought my “half” was bigger than his so he took a few spoonfuls out of it and ate them without my consent. We went into the living room and Glyn set up his wi-fi on his phone. I finished my piece of pie before Glyn had even started his! I snuck over to him pretending to be looking at his phone. When he wasn’t looking I switched our pies and then went back to my seat. I ate a few mouthfuls and he didn’t have a clue. I had by this point proved my point that I was a friggin’ legend. So I pointed out what had happened. He was impressed.
We then came upstairs and I came on the PC to check my emails and Glyn got undressed and went into my bed and I asked him why, and he said that he didn’t want to sleep on the mattress, preferring my company…
Cameras - 12:45 pm - 23-09-2006
You may have noticed that there have been considerably fewer photos on my album as of lately. This is because my FinePix A330 spontaneously stopped working a week or so before geek camp.
I decided that I needed a new camera before geek camp so, the day before I set off, I went and bought A Kodak EasyShare C643. At geek camp I took about 1200 photos, which I would periodically upload to my Archos because they wouldn’t all fit on my camera. Then the charger for my archos broke, so the battery life was very limited. Therefore, although I did manage to get them all onto it, I was unable to remove them and put them onto my computer. Callum is currently trying to fix it. With any luck I will get them off soon.
The next problem was only a few days after I returned from geek camp when I was at Nic’s house and in passing my camera to Judith, it was dropped and broken.
So I then had no working cameras at all.
Today I had a look at my old FinePix A330, and just as spontaneously as before, it had fixed itself. So thus, with any luck I will be able to take photos again. Yes they will be as low quality as they were before, but at least they will exist!
And eventually (maybe within a few weeks) I will be able to get my newer, better camera fixed. Then the fun will really begin!

Winter - 10:33 pm - 17-09-2006
Ok, looks like winter’s here. No, I’m not happy about it. I’m still listening to the Beach Boys, Motown, Bob Marley Steal My Sunshine by LEN and Here Comes the Sun by the Beatles but it’s really just clinging to a time disappearing into the distance.
I suppose it might be fun when there’s some snow to have snow fights with, but until then life is just going to get worse.
One good thing (which by no means makes it alright) is that the darker nights make a rave more appealing. Brookesy’s rave last friday wasn’t too great but I might try to organise another at some point.

Ok a new week and 3 new tasks, even though we are a little late starting this week we will still be completing the tasks to our full ability. I am speaking for Callum as well as myself here as we are working through this book together. Last weeks tasks were: sell yourself on eBay, assess the evil in others, and lye pathologically.
This week’s are pretend your a doctor, insure your best feature, and plagiarism week: copy everything from others. As usual you’ll be the first ones to know what’s happening with these tasks.

I have completed another week of the diary. I explained my tasks here. I must confess that due to the lying pathologically task, I lied when saying that one task was to kill myself, when I blogged about the dolphin and finally about ending my blog.
Yes you can all rest safely knowing that my blog will be lasting a good deal longer.
And thus, the world is good. =)

I’m really sorry to have to say this, but I have just started college this week and I’m feeling a lot of pressure put on me by my school studies.
I have also got a job as a baker 5 evenings a week.
It is for these reasons that regretfully I have to stop blogging.
I’m really sorry but I can no longer find time to blog.
With any luck this will not be permanent, and I will be blogging again after my A Levels (in June 2008). Thanks for reading and please pop back within the next week as I will be making one final update.
