Today school was cancelled (second time in 3 weeks) because of snow. It didn’t make much sense to me, we could have easily made it in… but whatever, it was still fun.
So a group of guys came to mine and we spent most of the day playing SSBM, which was wicked. At one point one guy was in a really bad mood.
And here is the interesting bit.
I popped C’est la Vie by B*Witched on and immediately he was smiling.
And I realised: I’ve never seen someone not smile when that song is put on. Maybe it’s impossible…
Good day - 5:22 pm - 07-02-2007
15 out of 20 of my beads are now named. Tomorrow, when hopefully the other 5 are, I will upload all the photos of the beads with their respective owners.
Also, I went to the co-op to ask about my job and she told me that she’d lost my number but that I’ve got it. I’ve arranged my hours
Saturday: 4pm-8pm
Sunday: 10am-4pm
And I couldn’t imagine much better hours really…
So life is good. =D
Today I went to town with Callum with the intention of returning home dressed like a raver. This didn’t happen but I did get some wicked shizz!
I bought a German military tunic from WILD. I’d wanted it for a while and just needed Callum’s confirmation that it’s as phitt as I thought it was.
I got a red T-shirt, which was just a red T-shirt. It didn’t do anything wicked like differential equations so I don’t know why I’m even mentioning it.
I got an overpriced belt which I’m not quite sure whether I like yet, so fingers crossed.
Best of all I bought some beads and string from the Bead Shop and fashioned a necklace from them, all on my own (ok, Callum gave me advice but still). I think it goes well with the military tunic.
The tunic has little yellow bits on, and with my new bright yellow hair, we decided that I needed some bright yellow moonpants! We looked everywhere for them (well, sort of) but to no avail. John Gunstone told us to go to H+M but I think he might have confused himself.
Anyway, instead of doing that I bought some yellow fabric to customise a pair of jeans. I think I might turn them into flares.
That’s right - I’m bringing flares back. And they’re coming back with a vengance!
When I got home I showed my sister all the stuff and she said that the T-shirt was alright. That girl doesn’t respect style when she sees it.
Here is a photo of the necklace.
The middle ten beads are the crazy ones. From left to right they are:
Seal
Elephant
Plane
Cat
Lion (RAAAAR)
Dolphin
Train
Turtle
Ship
Car
I’m going to get people to name each one I think.
Maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ten!
EDIT: 10 minutes after posting this, my sister came into my room and asked if she could name one of the beads. I said no. That’ll teach her to be so unnecessarily critical!
Cher=McAsh? - 10:04 pm - 04-02-2007
Last night on the bus to town I happened to point out to Dave that I’m quite similar to Cher. He immediately agreed, but when I said the same to Lauren and Jamie they didn’t seem convinced. Throughout the rest of the bus journey our many similarities came out.
Cher has an oscar. So does McAsh
Cher is approximately 300 years old. So is McAsh
Cher was born a man. So was McAsh
Cher can’t sing. Nor can McAsh
Cher is an elf. So is McAsh
Cher is bald and wears a wig. So does McAsh
Oh, and Dave’s quite similar to Whitney Houston.
